Patrick and Rebecca are currently working voluntarily with a mission organisation called The Joshua Foundation in Arusha, Tanzania.
Patrick is a pastor from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He felt the call of God on his life in 1995 when he was doing business in Goma, DRC. Goma, at the time was being invaded by Rwandese refugees, a perfect opportunity to start his ministry. He spent the next 9 years ministering in East DRC and Rwanda to those deeply affected by the Rwandan genocide.
In 2004 Patrick came to Arusha, Tanzania to study his bachelor of Missiology at The Joshua Foundation. It is here that he found his future wife, Rebecca.
Rebecca is primary school teacher from Australia. She felt the call to Africa in 1983, when she was eight. It wasn't until 2001 that her feet touched African soil for the first time. By 2002 her bags were packed and she was moving to live in Tanzania. It was there she began her work with The Joshua Foundation.
In November, 2007 Patrick and Rebecca married. They are still with The Joshua Foundation, Rebecca being a teacher trainer and Patrick college Chaplain. They are also ministering to local churches on the weekends.
